Spend less time plugging in and more time concentrating on the road – the SoundGate® iO TALK1™ makes it easy to go from the phone speaker to car speakers.   The iO TALK1 is a simple-to-use, Bluetooth® hands-free car kit and music-streaming system that delivers high-quality audio through the two front speakers of a car stereo system. It allows the driver to safely make and receive mobile phone calls wirelessly and hands-free in a vehicle.

This phone solution is not only cost effective, but also very driver friendly. iO TALK1 can pair up to five mobile phones wirelessly, integrating conversations into the front two speakers of the car audio system while muting other speakers in the vehicle. This kit easily meshes into an existing vehicle’s audio system and is compatible with A2DP Bluetooth Stereo, Bluetooth HFP, most all generations of iPod® and iPhone™, and any other device that uses Bluetooth.

Along with making phone calls easier, the iO TALK1 can stream music tracks from any Bluetooth phone, or from a second portable device simultaneously, providing excellent sound quality through the vehicle’s front two speakers. It also supports five different languages, making the iO TALK1 diverse and easy to use.
Other features include an illuminated wireless console for answering or making calls in the dark, five preset ring tones, iO-designed 20-watt Class D amplifier that provide plenty of audio power, and the handy iO AudioSense (patent pending) for switching between connected devices and the original audio source.

For phones without Bluetooth capability, iO accessories (all sold separately) can provide Bluetooth technology to work flawlessly with the iO TALK1. The 3.5mm-minijack Bluetooth adapter plugs into any non-Bluetooth portable device, such as a GPS, MP3 player, or PDA, and immediately provides Bluetooth capabilities. The iPod/iPhone Bluetooth adapter is compatible with most any generation iPod or iPhone and provides Bluetooth capabilities as well. This adapter allows users to skip tracks and pause the iPod using the iO TALK1 console buttons, without ever needing to be charged.
