PowerBass Hires Industry Pioneer Rich Coe

altChino, CA (Dec  10, 2009) Chino, CA based PowerBass USA, manufacturer of car audio speakers and amplifiers, is pleased to announce that 12-volt veteran Rich Coe has joined the company as Director of Technical Engineering.

 

 

 

 

 

“A passion for the car audio industry is something that is literally “in my blood”—since my early years I have always enjoyed electronics and tearing apart cars”, said Coe.  “I look forward to the opportunity of once again helping to shape a young company.”Coe’s roots in car audio go back as far as the late ‘70’s when he started with Audiomobile and built what many believe to be the first mobile audio demo vehicle—a 1969 Volkswagen Bug test car appropriately named “1KW VW”.

Throughout his storied 12-volt career, Rich Coe has been associated with such notable car audio companies as Alpine, Infinity, Clarion and Eclipse.  As Director of Technical Engineering Rich will share his years of experience  with current PoewrBass staff and factory engineers to take the company to the next level.You can visit with Rich and see all the latest PowerBass offerings during the 2010 CES in booth 501 located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
