“A passion for the car audio industry is something that is literally “in my blood”—since my early years I have always enjoyed electronics and tearing apart cars”, said Coe. “I look forward to the opportunity of once again helping to shape a young company.”Coe’s roots in car audio go back as far as the late ‘70’s when he started with Audiomobile and built what many believe to be the first mobile audio demo vehicle—a 1969 Volkswagen Bug test car appropriately named “1KW VW”.

Throughout his storied 12-volt career, Rich Coe has been associated with such notable car audio companies as Alpine, Infinity, Clarion and Eclipse.
