MBChicago, IL January, 2009 – MB Quart®, known as one of the most respected manufacturers of consumer electronics, was recently awarded an International CES® Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Award.

MB Quart was informed of the prestigious CES award for their recently launched 24” x 36” sized HiddenReflections™ Television Mirror. Touted as a vision of elegance and technology, the complete HiddenReflections line-up consists of four conveniently-sized finely-crafted mirrors with built-in and hidden 17” LCD HDTV’s.

The MB Quart HiddenReflections series is ideal for non-custom applications such as bathrooms, foyers, entranceways or any desired viewing space. When the LCD is turned off, it shows only a mirror reflection. When the LCD is activated, it transforms into a window to the world.

“The HiddenReflections series was developed with the consumer in mind,” said Brian Walter, MB Quart Director of Sales. “We looked to make the slimmest, brightest and the most consumer-friendly Television Mirror in installation, application and style,” Walter added.

MB Quart uses premier one-way glass and high-reflective, high-contrast multilayer substrate for a natural reflection of color and skin tones – an improvement in the properties found in traditional mirrors. “This distortion free technology combined with a MB Quart digital LCD yields the brightest TV and Mirror combo available today,” continued Walter.

MB Quart has revolutionized the consumer electronics industry with the development of a 17” LCD HDTV at a depth of only one-inch, exclusively used in the HiddenReflections series. This has created a true plug and play product that enables the most attractive and cost-effective method of surface mount installations. “Development of a slim LCD was crucial. We are fortunate to have a team of engineers with vast LCD TV development experience,” noted Walter.

Sound is an essential part of the experience and at the heart of MB Quart. HiddenReflections TV Mirrors use the same high quality technology found in MB Quart speakers. The speakers are discreetly incorporated into the HDTV for optimum sound reproduction.

“We’ve thought of everything so the consumer doesn’t have to,” added Walter. Since most installations are in the bathroom, all HiddenReflections TV Mirrors include handheld waterproof remote controls. The HDTV features all standard A/V inputs and outputs and all mounting hardware is included.

The complete line of HiddenReflections Mirrors includes:

MODEL # MIRROR SIZE
SM2436PM-17 24” W x 36” H
SM3636PM-17 36” W x 36” H
SM4836PM-17 48” W x 36” H
SM6036PM-17 60” W x 36” H

MB Quart also offers a variety of sizes and styles beyond the HiddenReflections series. Vanishing and Non-Vanishing TV Mirrors are well suited for hotel guest rooms, bars, restaurants, bathrooms, lobbies, salons, spas and even high-traffic elevators.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
