Cheap TrickChicago, IL January, 2009 – If you’re ready to ROCK, have some interactive fun and take a trip down memory lane then the Maxxsonics’® USA Booth 1809 in the North Hall is the place to be at CES 2009.

“Kudos to the folks at Real Wheels Corporation for taking a rock and roll dream and turning it into an art explosion of reality,” said Alden Stiefel, Maxxsonics’ President. “This is one of the coolest themed vehicles to ever hit CES.”

RWC’s inspiration for the vehicle was initially fueled by the Rock Band® music video game. “I was amazed to hear my kids singing songs that were popular when I grew up,” said Jhan Dolphin, Marketing Director at RWC.

With the help of some incredibly valued sponsors and of course, America’s legendary rock band, Cheap Trick, the Dream Police Tactical Vehicle was born. The vehicle was designed in tribute to the band’s 30th Anniversary of the Dream Police album and is customized with so many aftermarket accessories and Cheap Trick graphics that you feel like it’s 1979 all over again.

Not to be outdone is the incredible sound system that fills the vehicle’s bed including a 32” monitor that plays the Rock Band game. Being all about music, Maxxsonics was the ideal choice to provide a plethora of speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers. “We knew that music was critical to the success of the vehicle and we wanted to be able to share the experience in our booth at CES,” said Stiefel. “We provided our premium brand, MB Quart, for the best performance and sound so that people could feel and hear the music the way it was meant to be heard when Cheap Trick first launched this illustrious album,” Stiefel continued.

To accomplish this feat was no easy task for Maxxsonics and RWC. According to Mike Benz, Market Development Specialist at Maxxsonics, “Together with the Real Wheels team, it took over 400 man hours to complete this incredible MB Quart sound system that consisted of six subwoofers, twelve speakers and five amplifiers.” To view the amazing build progression of the vehicle’s sound system visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb31jn-NqBY.

It will be difficult to miss Maxxsonics’ massive multi-level exhibit in the North hall featuring the latest in mobile and home audio electronics. Maxxsonics will not only launch over 75 new products, but they just may launch a few memories, too.
