JL Audio & Polaris Industries to offer high performance audio solution for Ranger RZR 800 off-roaders

Miramar, FL—September 25, 2009—JL Audio, a manufacturer of high-performance home, mobile and marine audio products, has partnered with Polaris Industries to offer specifically engineered JL Audio high-performance sound systems for Polaris recreational vehicles through the PURE Polaris Dealer Network, beginning on October 1, 2009.

The first in a series of audio solutions from JL Audio is the SlamPak™, a unique self-contained audio system designed exclusively for the Polaris Ranger RZR 800 Series side-by-side vehicles. Handcrafted at JL Audio’s USA factory, the SlamPak™ is engineered to provide maximum bass impact and high performance sound quality. Its rugged 100% fiberglass structure encloses a complete JL Audio bi-amplified system with a weatherproof subwoofer and coaxial speakers and a four-channel amplifier. Wiring and connectors are also designed to withstand the most extreme off-road conditions.

Once wiring has been run, installing and removing SlamPak™ is simple and easy. Attachment is via four Polaris Lock-n-Ride fixtures and quick-disconnect Deutsch® connectors for power and signal. This allows the vehicle owner to quickly reconfigure the Ranger RZR for work or play.
