March 31, 2009 - JL Audio, manufacturer of high-end autosound, home audio, and marine audio loudspeakers and electronics, has announced an unprecedented sponsorship agreement with Will Castro, star of the cable-TV hit Unique Whips, seen on the Speed Channel.

 As part of the two-year Agreement, Castro, founder of Unique AutoSports and internationally known as “customizer to the stars,” will feature JL Audio speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, OEM interface, accessories and wire exclusively in his New York and Miami locations and in any celebrity vehicles profiled on the Unique Whips TV Show.  Additionally, Will Castro will work with JL Audio to produce promotional marketing materials and make personal appearances at select industry events.

The Agreement reunites JL Audio and Unique AutoSports after a three-year hiatus with a shared synergy and philosophy by both companies that building upon a brands image in the current economic climate is paramount to continued success.

On March 29, JL Audio participated as a sponsor in a special star studded event in Miami to celebrate the opening of Unique Autosports South where JL Audio unveiled their thunderous new sound reinforcement subwoofer known as the Gotham Pro courtesy of JL Audio Professional.
