Atlanta, GA – Hybrid Audio Technologies is pleased to announce additions to the growing entry-level “Imagine” series, a new product to launch the company’s Stage 4 series “Legatia Special Edition”, and the return of Hybrid Audio’s fantastic Ring Radiator tweeter in the Stage 5 “Legatia Pro” series.

Hybrid Audio Technologies is a high-end speaker manufacturer based in Atlanta, GA, and is the maker of five levels of speaker components, from the budget-friendly Stage 1 Imagine series, to the world class Stage 4 and Stage 5 Legatia Special Edition and Legatia Pro series, respectively.

The Stage 1 category for Hybrid Audio Technologies is the Imagine series.  Today, the company announces the launch of the Imagine I69-2, a 6 X 9-inch coaxial and convertible component set.  Launched in January 2010 with a single sku, the Imagine series I61-2 convertible has quickly become the company’s best-selling product.  John Marsh, manager of American Radio in Cumming GA states “the Imagine series from Hybrid Audio is our go-to speaker set – there’s nothing on the market today – even at twice the cost of the Imagine – that compares with these speakers.”  The 6 X 9-inch offering is now shipping, and one dealer has already gone on record stating “it is the best-sounding 6 X 9 I have ever heard.”  Later this year, the company will produce the I51-2, a 5 ¼-inch convertible, as well as a subwoofer line in the series, to begin with the I6SW, a long-throw, small sealed enclosure 6.5-inch subwoofer; the I51-2 and I6SW will be shipping by the end of 2010.

The Stage 4 category for Hybrid Audio Technologies is the Legatia Special Edition (SE) series, an emerging line for the company.  Today, the company announces the launch of the Legatia L6SE, a super high-end 7.1-inch midrange/midbass offering.  The Legatia SE topology has been based off of the massively successful Stage 3 Legatia component speakers, first launched in 2006 and 2007 to an enthusiastic reception of car audio competitors, enthusiasts, car audiophiles, and dealers.  Notably, Stage 3 Legatia products have been included in more IASCA® national- and world-championship vehicles than any other speaker or speaker system in this period of time.  The SE series boasts several enhancements over the Stage 3 Legatia line; the Legatia L6SE is the finest midrange/midbass on the market today.  The line will include an L3SE and L4SE, 3.7-inch and 4.65-inch midranges, respectively, and an L8SE 8.8-inch midbass, to be shipping by the end of 2010.

The Stage 5 category for Hybrid Audio Technologies is the Legatia Pro series, a series of master-class component speakers, and the highest category for the company.  Today, the company announces the launch of the Legatia L1 Pro R2 ring radiator tweeter.  The R2 tweeter is a direct descendant of the massively successful, limited edition Stage 5 Legatia L1 Pro Special Edition tweeter that was released on November 24, 2009 and was completely sold out within three months of launch.  Given the efficacy of the design and its popularity as the “tweeter of choice” for high-end car audiophiles around the world, the team at Hybrid Audio Technologies refined the SE tweeter design, with the result being the Legatia L1 Pro R2, available now in either an anodized black finish or machined aluminum with copper accoutrements.  Scott Buwalda, Founder of Hybrid Audio Technologies and the lead speaker engineer states “The Legatia L1 Pro R2 is the world’s finest car audio tweeter on the market today, and sets a new standard for ring radiator tweeters.”

Hybrid Audio Technologies is an Atlanta, GA-based high-performance speaker manufacturer that develops five product lines, from the budget-friendly to world-class.  We continue to get inquiries from consumers asking to purchase our products in their local markets, and have a need to expand our dealer network.  To inquire about becoming a dealer of Hybrid Audio Technologies products, or purchasing Hybrid Audio Technologies products, please contact us at 1.770.888.8200, or via the e-mail address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
