Boston Acoustics®, a longtime leader in premium sound components for aftermarket and OEM mobile audio systems, introduces the SC Series performance drop-in speakers. Available in two component and four coaxial models, the SC Series offers superior sound quality and simple drop-in installation for enthusiasts looking for excellent performance from factory locations.

All SC Speakers are outfitted with Type-S2, 3/4-inch Kortec® tweeters for superb power handling, excellent transient response, and low distortion. Tweeter protection on all models ensures optimal performance and reliability. The dual tweeter array in the SC95 provides smoother response and higher output compared to conventional three-way designs. The tweeters are easily removed and field replaceable. The Type-S2 neodymium tweeter magnets provide an extraordinary power-to-size performance ratio. The coaxial models feature the CATB™ (Contoured Asymmetrical Tweeter Baffle), which delivers smoother extension and strong response both on and off axis.

The woofers in all SC Series speakers use 1.5-inch voice coils, and are built with copolymer cones and rubber butyl surrounds to ensure dependable, uninterrupted performance under the extreme environmental conditions. Boston Acoustics integrates each SC model with a specifically tuned crossover to deliver a smooth transition between woofer and tweeter. The SC60 and SC50 feature a unique crossover design that can separate or dock together to fit even the tightest installations. And finally, Boston Acoustics’ exclusive VariMount™ adapter rings, included with the 6-inch SC60 and SC65 speakers, provide ease of installation, allowing drop-in placement for the most common factory locations.
